As the ICF’s philanthropic arm, the ICF Foundation seeks to bring about meaningful social change by enabling more people to access coaching for help with life-affirming decisions.
Partnering with global organizations, including Walking Thru Walls and UNICEF, the ICF Foundation hopes to accelerate change in the United Nations’ Index of Social Progress by 2030. The foundation also works with local ICF chapters to encourage pro bono coaching services, recognizing those who donate services with the Gift of Coaching award.
In addition to expanding access to coaching services, the foundation seeks to support coaching professionals by providing tools to help coaches feel stimulated and motivated within their work, allowing them to create genuine change for the people they coach. Further, the foundation maintains a code of ethical practices for coaches and is active in creating partnerships between coaching professionals, to the betterment of the industry and the people it serves.
